Take the stage at the National Youth Opera Academy—where artists begin. Designed for young talents ages 13–18, NYOA offers a holistic training program encompassing stagecraft, vocal performance, conducting, and stage management. Our curriculum embraces a “learn by doing” philosophy, giving participants hands-on opportunities to grow, collaborate, and discover their unique artistic voice.
Throughout the program, students learn from industry leaders currently performing at major opera companies around the world—including The Metropolitan Opera, Opera Philadelphia, English National Opera, Teatro Regio di Torino, Komische Oper Berlin, Opéra de Montréal, and more.
The experience culminates in a fully staged opera with orchestra, where students step into the spotlight and showcase their artistry. Join us for an unforgettable 11-day summer journey where talent meets opportunity. Embrace your passion, unlock your potential, and let your voice be heard.
